There are so many reasons to embrace natural materials while doing art. Children pay more attention to the color, the shape, and the texture of natural materials. These materials came with no specific set of directions, simply let them paint and explore the natural materials as they paint. These types of art activities promote social competence because they support creativity and innovation.
